Welcome to Optimizing Patient Care (OPC), a resource to support your professional development.

OPC is a series of online learning modules designed to help pharmacists and pharmacy technicians enhance the quality of care and service provided to patients.

This resource is the product of a five-year research and educational program developed by researchers and educationalists at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy with the support of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

The twin goals of this program are to identify and understand the barriers within community pharmacy that may be restricting practitioners’ ability to practice to their full scope, and to provide pharmacists with the skills, confidence, and knowledge required to incorporate expanded scope of practice activities into their everyday pharmacy practice.
