Vincent Teo, BScPhm, PharmD

Pharmacotherapy Course Coordinator

Vincent completed his BScPhm at the University of Toronto in 2000. After completing a hospital practice residency at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in 2001, he accepted a position to remain there as the Clinical Pharmacist on the Clinical Teaching Unit – Internal Medicine. He subsequently returned to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Duquesne University in 2009.

Currently, Vincent is the Emergency Pharmacist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where he provides patient care in a fast-paced environment to acutely ill patients. He also provides patient education, health care provider education, and is involved with improving patient safety and quality assurance.

Current professional areas of interest include emergency medicine, toxicology, drug interactions, clinical pharmacy teaching models, and interdisciplinary education.

Vincent has been a co-coordinator of Pharmacotherapy for the International Graduates Program (IPG) since 2006. He has also served as a Teaching Assistant for PHM329H1 and PHM429H1. Vince is active in clinical education and has served as a preceptor to SPEP students and pharmacy residents. He has been the recipient of an SPEP TA Award and a Sunnybrook Clinical Teaching Award.
